The best fishing spots near the campsite<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From the Le Sabia campsite, you can walk or cycle<\/strong> to a number of fishing spots in Saint-Denis-d’Ol\u00e9ron. Less than 150m away, the foreshore reveals sandbanks and rocky areas<\/strong> at low tide, perfect for digging out clams and crabs. With your fishing rod, you can find a fish like sea bass with a little patience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can admire the Grand Sabia lock 150 m from the campsite, or others a little further on, near the Chassiron lighthouse. Typical of the island, the fish locks<\/strong> are a traditional fishing method still in use on concessions, which is why fishing there is not permitted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fishing on the Ile d’Ol\u00e9ron also means enjoying an exceptional setting<\/strong>, between ocean and cliffs, with total respect for nature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
