Think of selective sorting!
The Ile d’Oléron is a privileged site, endowed with natural and cultural treasures that must be preserved. During the summer months, its population increases tenfold. This tourist peak represents both an opportunity and a risk for the local economy, which relies on its natural heritage, particularly agriculture, shellfish farming and tourism.
Emma and Thomas are committed to protecting the environment, and encourage you to sort your garbage on the campsite thanks to the various selective sorting garbage cans. At the family campsite in Saint-Denis-d’Oléron, you’ll also find a shellfish garbage can and a brand-new compost bin!
