Information technology and freedom

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access and correct your personal data. Camping Le Sabia is the sole recipient of the information you provide.

RGPD

(Data protection policy)

Since May 25, 2018, the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data (RGPD) has come into force throughout Europe. This is the European Union’s new legal framework, governing the collection and processing of users’ personal data. It applies to all companies based in a European country that process personal data, as well as to all entities worldwide that process personal data belonging to EU residents. Its aim is to protect your personal data.

– What do we mean by “personal data”?

Personal data includes any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, for example by name, telephone number, e-mail address, identification number, location or connection data, online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, genetic, economic, cultural or social identity, or by cross-referencing information.

PERSONAL DATA

The personal data we collect are used solely to respond to your requests when you wish to stay at Camping le Sabia.

They are strictly reserved for internal use and accessible only to reception staff, as we attach great importance to this.

We only collect and store the data required to process and invoice your stays. Indeed, processing your requests and drawing up legal contracts legally require the collection of certain personal data. The NF525 standard, for example, requires that all invoices issued include the name and address.

The booking requests you send us via our online booking system do not go beyond the CTOUTVERT – Secure Holiday. booking interface and are sent directly to the database of our CAMPMIS management software from OSMOZIS.

The data collected is as follows:

– First and last names of participants,

– Date of birth,

– Postal address,

– Country of residence,

– E-mail address,

– Phone number,

– Arrival and departure dates

The secure online booking system uses customers’ bank details, which are systematically encrypted by PAYLINE.

CAMPMIS software gives us access to other functions for collecting additional data. We use the following functions:

– Customer’s mother tongue,

– Customer type,

– Internal customer feedback from the campsite,

– Archives of dates of previous stays,

– Vehicle registration number

We do not use your data for commercial purposes. We never share them with third parties, nor do we disclose them to anyone. We may, however, use your data to carry out statistical studies, including those required by INSEE (the French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies), which is compulsory.

Some personal data may also be collected via our e-mail service. They are subject to the same care and restrictions of use as those used on our CAMPMIS software. This professional e-mail service is protected by a dedicated password, by anti-spam software and by the computer’s anti-virus software, which is paid for, high-performance and regularly updated.

No personal information is collected without your consent.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We store your personal data in accordance with mandatory regulations (e.g. the data required to create an invoice is stored for 10 years from the close of our financial year, which is September 30 of each year). After this period, all your data is deleted.

If you return to the campsite within this 10-year period, the data stored in our customer file will be used to facilitate your administrative formalities by reusing it for a new reservation and the preparation of a new invoice.

To this end, we strive to ensure that personal data held is accurate, up-to-date and complete. We always respond to customers’ requests to correct or update their information.

Our paper documents are kept in a room accessible only to our qualified staff, and computer files are backed up by us on a daily basis.

In the case of online payment, the bank details you provide are only made visible to us once, the time it takes to complete the distance selling transaction, and are then immediately destroyed.

Paper records of your bookings, which we print out to facilitate their processing and follow-up, are kept throughout the season to be shown in the event of a government inspection. These data are stored in a room accessible only to the managers responsible for the establishment, and are destroyed the following year by them using a dedicated document shredder.

YOUR RIGHTS

At any time, and in accordance with current legislation on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to access, rectify and delete your personal data.

– Right of access

You can ask us whether we hold any information about you and, if so, to provide you with this information in full.

– Right of rectification

You may ask us at any time to rectify any inaccurate information about you.

– Right to be forgotten

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. We will then remove all your data, except those we are required to retain under French and/or European legislation.

– Who to contact and how?

To exercise your rights, simply contact the campsite

– Update

This Privacy Policy may be modified at any time. To stay informed of these changes, we invite you to consult it regularly.
